| STEVEN FOXLEY is a sculptor who
works mainly with wood. He is self-taught and began experimenting
with sculpture in 1994.
Born in London in 1970, he now lives and works in France, and
he has had several exhibitions in France and Ireland.
In 1997 he was commissioned to execute the sculpture 'Sol Invictus'
for Tony Wakeford, which can be seen in Tony's hand on the homepage
of the Tursa website:
http://www.tursa.com.
Steven's own account of his work is frank and focused, as one
would expect and respect, coming as it does from an artist working
in a concrete medium defined by its externality.
