FluxEuropa - dark music and more

ROME - ESSENTIAL REFERENCES

Rome (Dorling Kindersley 2000)
Available in several languages, this book reminds me of a CD-ROM and appears to be a very popular.

Roma (Rome Street Map)
A street map is not strictly necessary if all you want to see is covered by the above guide, but it gives you an overall picture and it’s sometimes tricky to swap from adjoining maps on different pages in a book. There’s plenty to choose from but I settled on one published by Litografia Artistica Cartografica which I bought in London.

Archaeological Guides
A range of archaeological guides are issued by the Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma and widely available at sites and museums.
