Resurrection Records is both a record label and a retail shop in London's Camden Town, a magnet for alternative tourists.

MANTRA

Mantra's Painted Red (1997 Resurrection Records ABCD16/AIW074 CD) is a very varied, confident and professional debut album combining singing and synthesised piano with industrial-experimental sounds to conjure up an atmospheric demi-monde.

A three-piece collective, Mantra emanated from Manchester in 1995 and consists of Simon Carroll (guitars), Yvonne Neve (voice, keyboards) and Phol Wallis (bass, percussion).
