Chris Beetles' annual Summer Cat Show is always a delight for both admirers of the cat artist Louis Wain as well as ailurophiles in general. This year's exhibition was no exception with fascinating works from all periods of Wain's art. Other than Wain, the artists featured were a mixed bag, as usual. Stand-outs included Susan Herbert with her clever reworkings of famous artworks featuring cats instead of humans and Lesley Fotherby whose paintings glorify the grace of the feline form.
