Breakfast in the garden of the Hotel Aprile

ACCOMODATION

A personal recommendation.

We stayed in the Hotel Aprile in the Via della Scala, just off the Piazza della Santa Maria Novella. This is a friendly, family-run three-star hotel housed in the late 15th century Palazzo dei Medici o dal Borgo, and it retains original features such as painted frescos on the ceilings. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff speak excellent English and are extremely helpful with booking excursions etc.
