This 7" vinyl record is split between Gerhard of Allerseelen and Demian's Catalonian project, O Paradis (formerly Dakshineswar). Allerseelen previously collaborated with Dakshineswar and another Catelonian project, Circe, on the Canço De Somni/Marqués De Púbol 7".

As suggested by its cover, this disc has an elemental sun/star/fire/sparks theme. 'Funke' has spoken word over an edgy rhythm and classical and distorted guitar riffs to produce a night/film music feel. It employs the characteristic Allerseelen modus operandi of translating pop rhythms and riffs into something industrial. O Paradiso's 'El Astro Rey' is a languid and dark latin pop ballad, or so it seems to me.
